Raphaël SALLES starts windsurfing.
Year 1981
Raphaël SALLES joins the windsurfing pro-tour.
Year 1989
The Kite Company established. Starting with a half container of sports kites from the USA stored in a mate’s spare bedroom, the need to distribute was real and from there the ambition to grow and expand began.
Year 2005
F-ONE emphasize on safety and develop the ACTIVE 5 to fit on all its kites!
This 5th line enables to kill all the power from the kite, to relaunch easily and to regulate the power the power of the kite when riding.
With the M5, F-ONE brings in a new design in kites with the introduction of rounded tips.
Year 2006
2006 was the year of the TRIBAL.
This is the first kite on the market combining complete depower and C-shape design.
Achieving both safety and performances this kite excels in all disciplines and becomes the best seller of the collection.
The IMPACT kite and DEMON board become Newschool references.
The LEGEND, a surf twin-tip designed by Raphaël SALLES in Mauritius comes to complete the range.
Year 2007
With the TRIBAL 2, F-ONE confirms its C-Shape design option as opposed to flatter kites.
The TRIBAL 2 is a great kite with a massive depower.
The concept of the IMPACT is pushed to the max with the « impact short line » for unhooked riding.
The TRAX 2 is the best seller of the collection.
The introduction of the bandit with its revolutionary delta C-Shape design marks a giant leap in the history of F-one!
Year 2008
The introduction of the BANDIT with its revolutionary Delta C-Shape design marks a giant leap in the history of F-ONE!
Its concept offers great performances with an optimum relaunch. Riding becomes a child’s play for any kind of riders.
The Trax 3 has been fully designed for a wooden core construction and our advances in R&D have enabled us to design a new 3D bottom shape with a simple concave.
Year 2009
Drawing on the success of the BANDIT, the BANDIT DOS follows the same Delta C-Shape concept.
Designed as a one kite do it all like the BANDIT, the DOS is perfect for all disciplines: from freestyle to freeride and from wave to speed riding with the impressive record of50.57 kts set by Alex CAIZERGUES.
The F-ONE bamboo board range finally comes on the market. The incredible bamboo technology offers lighter boards which are also more resistant for all kind of riding.
The TRAX 4 gets lighter with a new bottom shape mixing a simple concave with steps and a lateral V.
Year 2010
The ball keeps rolling and third version of the BANDIT comes to light.
The Delta C-Shape concept keeps proving itself and offers a really versatile kite suited for all kinds of riding.
The feedback and bar feeling have been improved for a smoother ride and more accuracy.
F-ONE provides bamboo boards which are more resistant and adapted to all conditions for maximum enjoyment.
Twist and flex control have been optimized for the TRAX 5 with its carbon cross on deck. The board is fast, precise and points high.
Year 2011
The BANDIT 4 presents a totally new shape.
The profile and structure of the kite have been modified. It keeps its Delta C-shapegeometry for maximum stability and depower with an easy relaunch.
The ACID 4 is epitome of a newschool freestyle board with a sharp and efficient pop.
The TRAX 6 is flagship of our twintip range. For its 6th edition it is provided with Unibox fins (patented system) and given a new double concave bottom shape which makes for easier edging and easier landings.

A unique and high performance kite is more than ever the aim of the F-ONE R&D team.
In its 5th generation, the BANDIT features a flatter profile for a more progressive depower. The number of struts goes from 3 to 5, a significant innovation which improves flight behavior.
All our TT boards are fitted with the Unibox fin system which offers a smoother ride and softer landings.
Year 2013
For the past six years we have set ourselves the same challenge: improve the BANDITyet again. Following some more spectacular innovations we have worked on the feeling of the kite including some small, almost invisible changes that you can’t see but which can really feel: smoother with more stability and control with a more direct bar feeling.
The F-One kitebar adopts the MONOLITH technology. The core of the bar is machined directly into an aluminum bloc offering more strength and corrosion resistance.
The TRAX is once again leading innovation and gathers our best ingredients to offer great versatility and high performances.

This latest edition of the BANDIT will surprise the world once again as we have brought in some major innovations.
The new TECHNOFORCE ™ fabric used in the canopy offers extreme strength and wear characteristics.
The BANDIT 2014 offers the feeling to be in direct connection with the kite, as if you were flying it from the tips of your fingers.
Its profile is stable for more accurate sensations.
It features the new PUSH SYSTEM release for more safety and comfort.

Year 2013
Focus on the surf boards! A new size is introduced to widen the MITU PRO MODEL range with the arrival of a 5’6”.
The R&D has developed a new construction using high density foam for the MITU andSIGNATURE boards, the HD FOAM FLEX COMPOSITE. This has helped reduce the weight of the boards while gaining in comfort and maneuverability.
Our engineers have also introduced the HEEL SHOCK ABSORBER, where EVA foam is nested underneath the front foot area to soften the shocks under the heel.
But we haven’t worked solely on the surf boards. The rocker and concave of the ACID HRD have been improved to pack even more performances and pop into this playful Twin-Tip. The deck of the TRAX and ACID boards has also been improved for more resistance.
Finally, let’s gain some height and look at the BANDIT, whose flying range has been enlarged yet again with the addition of a 17m² for the light wind. The BANDIT also features a new trailing edge, improved profile and a 4 point bridle. Overall, these upgrades give us the possibility to offer a kite which is more stable and more comfortable to use with exceptional upwind and hangtime performances!
2015 is also the Kitefoil Year!
This new discipline is growing fast and offers a lot of opportunities for riding.
We have worked on the kitefoil development for over 3 years with the most experienced riders and our naval architect to offer a reliable and versatile product. Featuring a patented assembly system, the Fast Connection Device, the F-ONE Foil is really easy to use. The main benefit of this system is the one and only screw that maintains all the parts together (front wing, mast, fuselage and stabilizer).
In no time, the foil is assembled and ready to fly to explore new horizons.
