The SUSHI was born from the need to create a foil dedicated to pure wave surfing. A foil with less speed, more roll, and maximum maneuverability, designed to shine in steeper waves and short-period swells.
Everything about the SUSHI has been tuned to give you absolute control in the wave. This foil allows you to manage your speed effortlessly, stay stable in the foam, and surf right in the curl. There’s no need for long bottom turns to regulate speed, which makes quick cutbacks, fast snaps, and tight transitions feel easy and intuitive.
The roll characteristics have been pushed to the maximum. Rail-to-rail feels immediate and natural, to the point where you almost only need to control the foil with your toes. The sensation is strikingly close to surfing a traditional surfboard, with a foil that reacts instantly and predictably beneath your feet.
With its 7.7 aspect ratio, the SUSHI balances glide and maneuverability while favoring control over outright speed. Thanks to its high camber profile, it also delivers an incredible low-end with very consistent power. The lift is always there, smooth and progressive, giving you the same support throughout the turn. Pumping back to the peak is very efficient and effortless as well.
With a sail in your hands, whether you’re freeflying with a wing or K-Wing, or pushing upwind with a pocket wing, the SUSHI still delivers surprising speed and effortless efficiency. Upwind performance is swift, so you never have to fight drag or overwork to accelerate.
With a slightly reduced speed compared to the SK8, the SUSHI doesn’t aim to replace it, but rather to complement it. Depending on the conditions and your riding style, one may shine more than the other. When the waves are steeper, the period is shorter, and control and roll are your priorities, the SUSHI is the obvious choice.
The SUSHI is all about unlocking pure surf foiling, where roll and control come together in every turn.
